Loreto’s First Linux Installation
Well, today is a damn important day as my sister, named Loreto, did her first Linux Ubuntu (hardy) installation on her own, on her old Compaq Presario M2000 (Celeron M, 256mb RAM and 40gb Hard disk drive). With such an old hardware and just receiving instructions from me via gtalk, it took her about 2 hours to get it done. I guided her step by step though the whole task and the only trouble shown was that she could not log int after the first reboot. Then she went off for lunch and after a while she did it =D and there she was with Linux and soon to discover what it’s all about: freedom and performance.
